Detailed Itinerary 

Day 1:

You will be met upon arrival at the Santiago airport and transferred to your Orient-Travel hotel located in Las Condes, one of the hippest neighborhoods in town.

In the early afternoon, you will be picked up at the hotel for a private half-day city tour of Santiago. The tour includes the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, the city's premier fine arts museum, and the Pre-Columbian Art Museum, whose remarkable collection includes the Mayan, Aztec, Incan, Mapuche, and other major indigenous cultures. The tour also visits the Plaza de Armas and the neighborhoods of Providencia, Bellavista, and Las Condes.

Santiago offers an extensive range of sophisticated dining options. We will provide a wide variety of restaurant recommendations for you to decide between local, fusion, modern or traditional cuisine.

Day 2:

Today you will head west into Colchagua Valley for a private tour of the finest wineries. This is the home of Chile's most acclaimed varietal, the Carmenere, and some really nice reds as the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Syrah. The day-tour includes a wine-pairing lunch at one of the wineries.

Day 3:

You will be picked up at the hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight to Punta Arenas.
You will be met upon arrival and transferred to your all-inclusive hotel, where you will spend the next 4 nights immersed in the breathtaking Patagonian landscape, opting between hiking, biking, horse-back riding, etc. All meals are included as well as the activities.

Torres del Paine National Park is arguably one of the top adventure travel destinations in the world and offers countless options for the adventure enthusiast.

Day 4:

You will join one of the hotel's free activities, such as hiking, biking or horse-back riding.

Day 7:

Today you will be picked up at your hotel to take your long-distance transfer across the Chilean-Argentine border to El Calafate.
Upon arrival in El Calafate you will be driven to your high-end lodge, a Relais & Chateaux property located deep into the Patagonian steppe and main entry to the Glaciers National Park, one of the region's UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Day 8:

While in El Calafate, we have arranged for you to hike on the Perito Moreno Glacier. You will walk along the walkways facing the Perito Moreno for beautiful pictures of the ice wall. Later on, you will board a small boat and navigate across the channel and disembark on the other shore where you will put on crampons and experience the amazing experience of walking on the millenary ice.

Day 9:

You will also enjoy a full-day excursion in the area visiting a distant Patagonian ranch surrounded by glaciers, lakes, and granite mountains. The Estancia has a small museum and a few activities available such as hiking, horse-back riding, etc.

Day 10:

Today you will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight to Iguazu.
Upon arrival in Iguazu you will be transferred to your hotel, located 15 minutes away from the National Park. The hotel has a nice restaurant and a comprehensive spa.

Day 11:

During your stay we will arrange a full-day excursion to the Iguassu falls accompanied by a local expert, including the upper and lower circuits, leading to multiple minor waterfalls and the train to the Devil's Throat. There are many adventure activities available at the park, including the Great Adventure boat ride, bird-watching or hiking along a jungle trail.

Day 12:

Today you will be picked up at the hotel and brought to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires.
Upon the arrival of your flight, you will be met by a private car and transferred to your Orient-Travel hotel located in Recoleta, close to the main museums, art galleries and shopping options. The most elegant quartier in the city is the home of the local aristocracy and is filled with parks, monuments and nice little cafes.

Day 13:

We will schedule a walking tour, for you to experience the city from the eyes of its inhabitants, getting to know their culture, their buildings, monuments, avenues and parks.
The walks focus on the areas of Retiro and Recoleta, where Buenos Aires most clearly expresses its Parisian character, acquired in the early 20th century through its architectural styles and urban design or the foundational area of Buenos Aires, from Plaza the Mayo to the South up to the neighborhood of San Telmo, where the city early years are still alive in the churches and colonial buildings.

Day 14:

You will also take a day-trip to Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay. A private car will take you to the Hydrofoil dock where you will board the ferry to the neighboring country. The historic town of Colonia once a belonged to the Portuguese and the original settlement's layout differs from any other town in Argentina or Uruguay. The town displays a fortress, a lighthouse, the cathedral and a bullfight arena. At the conclusion of your visit you will return to Buenos Aires and be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 15:

During your stay you will have a private art tour of Buenos Aires customized to your personal interests. A local art expert will take you to one of the city's finest art institutions and talk about South America's most acclaimed artists. She will then take you to a few private art galleries and studios where you will have a chance to meet Argentina's top contemporary artists and discuss their work.

Day 16:

In the afternoon, you will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to the international airport for your flight back to the US.
