Etchmiadzin, Zvartnots

Etchmiadzin, Cathedral (303AD), St Gayane (630AD) Ethnographic museum in Sardarapat, lunch. St.Hripsime (618AD) churches, Zvartnots (643AD). Dinner, overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 4

Khor-Virap, Sisian

Khor-Virap monastery (4-17th cc.), Areni church (1321), Noravank monastery (13-14th cc.). Lunch- picnic. Sisavan church (7th c.), Sisian. Dinner and overnight in hotel "Basen" in Sisian 

Day 5

Sisian

Sisian, Karahunge ancient observatory (5 mil. BC), Khndzoresk ancient village in caves (I mil. BC), lunch at the restaurant in Goris. Tatev monastery complex (9-13th cc.). Dinner and overnight at the hotel "Basen" in Sisian.

Day 6

Sisian

Sisian, Gndevank monastery (10th c.), lunch, Yeghegis village, Zorats church (14th c.). A visit to the winery in Areni village. Dinner, overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 7

Yerevan, Garni

Garni pagan temple (1st c.), lunch- picnic by the road. Geghard monastery (4-13th cc.). Monument and Museum of Genocide. Museum of S.Paradjanov. Dinner, overnight at the hotel in Yerevan. 

Day 8

Yerevan, Ashtarak

Matenadaran - institute and museum of medieval manuscripts. Ashtarak, medieval bridge (13th c.), Karmravor (7th c.) and Tsiranavor (5th c.) churches. Lunch. Hamberd castle and church (10-13th cc.), Saghmosavank monastery (13th c.). Parting dinner, overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.
