Bali Romantic Adventure: Fall in Love All Over Again!

Day 1: Depart USA
You will leave the USA for your flight to Bali via Singapore on a late night flight. The adventure begins! (Meals on flight)

Day 2: Bali Arrival
You will arrive in Bali (Denpasar) where your guide will meet you and transfer you to your beach resort hotel in Seminyak where you can rest up from your journey. Meals on Plane, D

Day 3-4: This time is free for you to relax and enjoy the beach resort.

Option: NOTE - Bali is famous for their massages and spa treatments. Any day or night you have the option of utilizing these services. The hotel services are more expensive than the independent businesses. If you want to add a specific time for the group to receive a massage outside of the hotel, we can arrange this.

Day 5: Half Day Garuda Wisnu Kencana & Uluwatu Temple

This morning you will have some free time to enjoy the local beaches, visit the local shops or even just hang around your hotel.

*PLEASE NOTE: With the local vendors and even some of the local shops you CAN and SHOULD bargain. Depending on what the items are you should come in about 1/2-1/5 of what their original asking price is.

This afternoon you will visit the Garuda Wisnu Kencana and the cultural park. Then we will take you to the Uluwatu Temple, which is an architectural marvel situated on the edge of a steep 300 foot rock facing the ocean. This temple has some of the most exquisite architecture in Bali and was first built in the eleventh century. There are numerous monkeys on the walkway to the temple, who are delighted to receive food from you. You shouldn't have anything loose on your clothing or body, such as earrings, pens and glass-cases and you should hold your camera bags tightly. These mischievous monkeys will quickly snatch them and will only give them back for a ransom (typically peanuts and bananas). Then you will proceed to the temple. This is a small and simple temple, but it is a good introduction to the style and function of the Hindu temples on Bali.

Afterwards you can enjoy the sunset while watching the performance of Kechak Dance, which presents the Mahayana story with actors-dancers, beautiful costumes and accompanied totally by the Kechak dancers-singers (no gamelan orchestra). Afterwards we will take you to dinner at a seafood restaurant with tables on the beach. Though not fancy, the food and ambience are delightful. Then we will drive back to the hotel where the rest of the evening is at your own leisure. B, L, D

Day 6: Nusa Dua- Ubud
Today we will drive you to the Ubud area and check you into your resort outside of the town. The rest of your day is free to explore the area. B, L

Option: You can have a cooking class where you can learn to cook typical Balinese dishes.

Day 7: Ubud
You will leave early in the morning to see an excellent Barong Dance. This is the traditional Balinese Hindu dance of the battle between Good and Evil, the Barong and Rhanga. This dance also involves several other characters and is the main dance which in its purest religious form leads to its participants going into trances. Afterwards we will take you to a Master Mask Maker. You will see his beautiful masks and how they 'come alive.' These are truly incredibly well crafted works of art. The master mask maker also can demonstrate the appropriate dances and moves to complete the effect. These masks are also for sale. Then we will take you back to your hotel in Ubud. The rest of the day is free. B, L

Day 8: Ubud - Kintamani

Soon after upon arrival at Kintamani, we will meet by local guide will take to Suter as the starting point of downhill trekking. In this trip you will pass the pine, casuarinas trees also the beautiful panorama of Lake Batur and Mount Batur. Sometimes the mist covering all the way to go down so does the sound of the local kintamani's bird. After spending 2 hours downhill trekking, you will get Abang village which is one of the village along the lake's bank that produce cabbages, red onions, chills, tomatoes and any other vegetables, in here you can also join the farmer to plant or harvest their planting in the traditional way, from this village you will get to the bank of lake Batur where you can start your canoeing. A catamaran canoe is ready to take you crossing the biggest lake in Bali that surrounded by two mountains'while paddling in a cool wind, you can also see the fishermen fishing, you will see mount Batur (1717m) in front of you and mount Abang, Trunyan village behind you.

And about 45 minutes canoeing, you will get to Toya Bungkah village where it located in the foothills of mount Batur, at the Natural Hot & Warm Swimming pool from the Mount Batur you can go swimming or just submerged yourself, the clearest also without unpleasant sulphur odor hot spring in Indonesia (32 -39 C) this place also have the facilities like shower room, cleanness towel, locker, soap, shampoo are include' At the Toya Tribe Cafe and Restaurant your set menu or buffet menu is waiting for your lunch.

Following with camp check in before you enjoying the free time like walking along the lake bank, or having fishing or just take a rest until dinner time. In the clearly cold night weather, at around 7.30pm you can make a campfire, following with BBQ Dinner of favorite lake fish in Kintamani which called 'Mujair'.. Served with white rice, Balinese vegetable fries etc and fresh fruit as the dessert. After spending sometimes around the campfire, now it's time for you to take a rest in a warm comfortable tent, about 5 hours and ready for tomorrow hiking.

Day 9: Batur - Nusa Dua

In the early morning around 02.30am, you will be wakening up and shortly enjoy your hot coffee/tea before you go to Pura Jati as the starting point to Mount Batur hiking, escorted by experiences guide and all the equipment , will take you to the top of Mount Batur (1717m above sea level). It's about 1,5 ' 2 hours to get to the top and You will step up the stairway that were naturally black larva from the explosion of mount Batur. From there you can enjoy an excellent view of the sacred mount Agung which is ( 3,142 meters above sea level ) and from the distance you can also enjoy the view of Rinjani mountain which is the highest mountain in Lombok Island. Sandwiches and hot coffee/tea will be served while admiring the sunrise view.

After going down the mountain, around 10.00am, you will be served with cold drinks and fresh fruits before you go back to Toya Devasya Resort & Spa where you can have swimming or just submerged in the hot spring water. Noon continued drive to Nusa Dua area, Lunch served at local restaurant. check in at Grand Hyatt Hotel - Nusa Dua.

Option: We can take you on a cruise to Lebongan Island off the east side of Bali where you can snorkel, swim in a pool, walk around the island, take a variety of tours, utilize a glass bottom boat, etc.

Day 11: Flight Back Home
Today you will fly home with a lifetime of wonderful memories!
